Recruiting Organization: STEM Montessori Academy of Canada
STEM Canada is a registered not-for-profit global program that specializes in an advanced, bar-none STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The STEM program is open to all students from preschool to high school with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application, designed to teach students in the STEM fields, yielding globally competitive results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forge strong partnerships with homeschooling families and networks to understand their needs and how STEM Canada can support them.
- Provide homeschooling communities with access to STEM Canada’s educational materials, programs, and events.
- Collaborate with educational experts to tailor programs that fit the unique requirements of homeschooling curricula.
- Organize events and workshops specifically designed for the homeschooling audience to promote STEM education.
- Gather and analyze feedback from homeschooling partners to continuously improve program offerings.
- Act as an advocate for homeschooling within STEM Canada, ensuring that policies and programs are inclusive and supportive of homeschooling needs.
Qualifications:
- A degree in education, community development, or a related field.
- Experience with or a strong understanding of the homeschooling community and its educational approaches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the skill to engage effectively with diverse groups.
- Ability to develop and implement outreach strategies that resonate with the homeschooling community.
- Strong organizational skills, including event planning and project management.
- Comfortable with digital tools for communication, collaboration, and data management.
