Art world's most prestigious forum ARTISTS TALK ON ART seeks several new board members \. Founded in 1974, the 501c3 non-profit's purpose is the creation and dissemination of compelling aesthetic programs, currently primarily delivered via Zoom and maintained on a YouTube channel. Since its inception ATOA has produced, held and recorded more than 1,200 programs, featuring over 9,000 artists, curators, critics, museum staff, gallery directors, art writers and other figures in the art world. That collection resides at Archive of American Art of the Smithsonian Institution where it is their largest archive of audio and video recordings. Learn more at our webite: www.atoanyc.org.
Ideal candidates should be skilled in business management, fund raising and technical aspects of communications. Previous service on other nonprofit boards or in management or communication roles is valued here.

Artists Talk On Art (ATOA) presents critical discussions on aesthetic opinions and best practices among artists and throughout the art community.
Description
Founded in 1974, ATOA is the art world's longest running and most prolific panel discussion series. Over 8,500 artists and other art world members have been presented and documented in more than 1,400 events in New York City. The Archive of American Art of the Smithsonian is the official depository of all past and future ATOA audio and visual materials.
