Teaching languages and ecology involves exploring the intersection between communication and environmental science. It includes teaching the linguistic skills needed to discuss ecological issues, raise awareness about environmental challenges, and promote sustainability. Educators in this field often emphasize how language shapes perceptions of nature, informs policy discussions, and influences environmental activism. By combining language instruction with ecological topics, learners gain the tools to advocate for the planet and understand the world through both scientific and cultural lenses.

Description

ABIGAEL JEPLETING KIROREI EDUCATION FOUNDATION registered in 2024 to address the needs of the vulnerable and poor people in five counties in Kenya namely Mombasa, Kenya. Poverty in Kenya has increased tremendously over the last decade with more children unable to access basic education, parents unable to feed their children, the youth unable to get jobs leading to youth and young children taking drugs, early pregnancies among young girls and increment of street children and street families.

With joblessness among the youth skyrocketing, more children are unable to progress with their education. Families are struggling with treating their sick ones. Considering the impact of HIV/AIDs infections and deaths which led to millions of orphans and thousands of child led homes. Adolescents are in charge of bringing up their little sisters and brothers. Not forgetting the recent impact of Covid19 on the poor populations. It was because of the above challenges on Kenyans that caused Mr. & Mrs. Rotich to start the Abigael Jepleting Kirorei Education Foundation.

The Foundation has from its humble beginnings sought to address education among the vulnerable by sponsoring orphans and vulnerable children. The Foundation is also supporting poor families and poor children assess healthcare by ensuring that they get Medical Cover for every vulnerable family.

The Foundation is also seeking to economically empower the vulnerable families by supporting them start small businesses as well as supporting the youths in their quest to find jobs.
