Key Responsibilities:

• Grant Research & Identification: Identify potential grant opportunities and funding sources that align with our mission and programs.
• Proposal Development: Write, edit, and submit persuasive grant proposals and funding requests that clearly articulate our impact and funding needs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with program staff to gather necessary data and success stories to support proposals and enhance funding narratives.
• Deadline Management: Organize and manage timelines to ensure all grant applications and proposals are submitted promptly and meet funding guidelines.
• Reporting & Follow-Up: Assist in the development of progress reports and updates for funders, ensuring continued support and transparency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in grant writing, proposal development, or similar roles in the nonprofit sector.
• Excellent writing, research, and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex program details into clear, compelling narratives.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Volunteer Commitment:

• Flexible hours with the possibility of remote work. Occasional meetings may be required to coordinate with team members and update on progress.
