Volunteer Videographer Help Capture the Impact of BRL!
Organization: Beats, Rhymes & Life (BRL)
Location: Oakland, CA (In-person)
Time Commitment: Flexible, project-based
Description:
BRL is seeking a creative and skilled videographer to help us tell our story! We need help capturing footage from events, programs, and testimonials to showcase the impact of our work through hip-hop therapy, mental health services, and community building.
Key Responsibilities:
Record video content at BRL events, workshops, and community programs
Capture interviews and testimonials from youth, staff, and supporters
Edit compelling short-form videos for social media, our website, and donor outreach
Collaborate with our team on creative storytelling ideas
Ideal Volunteer:
Experience with videography, video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
Owns or has access to a professional camera and audio equipment
Passionate about youth empowerment, hip-hop culture, and mental health
Creative storyteller with an eye for impactful visual narratives

Beats, Rhymes and Life (BRL) is a 501(c)(3) community-based organization in Oakland, California that serves youth between the ages of 12-24 years. Our mission is to improve mental health and social outcomes among marginalized youth by using hip hop as a catalyst for positive change and development.
