Volunteer WordPress Web Designer (Urgentl Help Us Finish Our Website!)
Organization: Beats, Rhymes & Life (BRL)
Location: Remote (or Oakland, CA preferred)
Time Commitment: Short-term, project-based
Description:
Beats, Rhymes & Life (BRL) is looking for an experienced WordPress Web Designer to help us finalize our website and ensure it reflects our mission of empowering youth through hip-hop and mental health services. We need someone ASAP who can jump in and refine the site design, optimize its functionality, and make sure it's user-friendly and impactful.
Key Responsibilities:
Improve and finalize the WordPress website design
Optimize site functionality, navigation, and responsiveness
Ensure donation and contact forms work smoothly
Assist with any minor content updates
Ideal Volunteer:
Experience with WordPress, Elementor (or similar builders), and basic coding (HTML/CSS)
Strong eye for design, branding, and user experience
Ability to work efficiently and independently
Passion for youth development, mental health, and hip-hop culture

Beats, Rhymes and Life (BRL) is a 501(c)(3) community-based organization in Oakland, California that serves youth between the ages of 12-24 years. Our mission is to improve mental health and social outcomes among marginalized youth by using hip hop as a catalyst for positive change and development.
