Catholic Charities Community Services (CCCS) strives to ensure everyone in our community has what is necessary to live a dignified, human life: food, shelter, clothing, access to medical care and more. We seek to satisfy these needs because we believe you have a right to what is fundamental to survival and because we wish to provide a holistic foundation to help you move toward a better life. CCCS' Putnam County office provides a variety of services to individuals and families from Putnam & Northern Westchester counties who are faced with an immediate crisis (loss of job, food insecure etc.) and provide them with compassionate care and direct assistance to help resolve the problem.

CCCS Putnam Office is in need of support with file organization and digitization. Express interest below if your skills are a match!

As a volunteer, you will:

• Review & organize hard case files and label/re-label
• Shred outdated & sensitive information
• Upload certain documents into the database
• Dispose of old files securely

Skills & Qualifications:

• Detail-oriented
• Can file in alphabetical order
• Patient and excellent at working independently
• Capable of using discretion with access to sensitive/personal information

Schedule:
Volunteer should minimally be available 1-2 times a week between the hours of 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM- 4:00 PM. A schedule will be determined one-on-one with point of contact upon background check being cleared.
