Are you a passionate Yoga Therapist looking to make a positive impact in the world of philanthropy? We are seeking a dedicated and friendly professional to join our team as a Yoga Therapist. In this unique role, you’ll have the opportunity to promote wellness and mindfulness among our executive volunteers, enhancing their overall well-being and productivity. Your expertise will guide the organization through tailored yoga sessions that address the specific needs of our volunteer community, alleviating stress, and fostering work-life-academic balance throughout the team. You will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where employees feel comfortable to engage in their wellness journey. Besides conducting yoga classes, you will also provide one-on-one consultations, develop personalized wellness plans, and assist our team in integrating yoga practices into their daily routines. We believe that a healthy mind and body are essential for achieving success, and your role will be crucial in establishing a culture of health and well-being within our organization. Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group yoga therapy sessions tailored to the needs of volunteer community
- Develop personalized yoga and wellness plans that address group and/or individual goals and stressors
- Guide clients in proper yoga practices and breathing techniques to enhance relaxation and focus
- Monitor client progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
- Create a supportive and inclusive environment for all participants in yoga sessions
- Educate volunteers on the benefits of yoga and mindfulness practices for stress management
- Collaborate with HR and management to promote wellness initiatives and programs throughout the organization
Requirements
- Certified Yoga Therapist with relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of various yoga modalities and therapeutic practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a calming and supportive atmosphere for clients
- Experience in designing wellness programs tailored to corporate settings
- Strong organizational skills to manage sessions and client follow-ups
- A passion for promoting health and wellness in the workplace
