We are always searching for ways to more efficiently accomplish our goal, to serve the needs of the women and babies who come to us and provide them with a safe, welcoming environment. Computers, printers, copiers, phone systems, websites, and security systems are useful in many ways. It is valuable to have technology experts available to help us use these systems to their full potential. For example, mentors need to be able to focus on personal interactions with our clients and not be distracted by complex technology issues. It is the right of every pregnant woman to give birth, and the right of every child to be born.
Description
Birthright of Albuquerque is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), pregnancy resource center that provides free, confidential support to women and their babies, regardless of age, race, religion, or marital status. Trained volunteers listen to the women, help them think through and make decisions that are best for them and their babies, guide them in accessing local medical and social services, and provide free pregnancy tests and essential items for them and their babies. Birthright volunteers are forbidden from engaging in any political activities or lobbying and from promoting any religion.
