Commitment: Part-Time Volunteer Position (2-5 hours per week)
Location: Preferred in Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area (DC, MD, or VA)
Availability: Must be available during one of the following operational time slots:
- Monday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Wednesday: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Flexible scheduling within those time slots, including short-term opportunities (1 week to 1 year), spring breaks, etc. High school students welcome (with guardian permission).
Capture and Share the Impact of Our Food Pantry: Volunteer Photographer/Videographer
Role Overview:
The JJ Center Inc. seeks a dedicated and skilled photographer/videographer to visually document the vital work of our food distribution and pantry. This role is crucial in providing compelling content for our social media and outreach, showcasing the impact of our programs on the community we serve. We need someone reliable and creative to help us tell our story.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality photographs and videos of food distribution, pantry operations, and community interaction.
- Deliver edited media to the social media team within designated timelines.
- Adhere to scheduled timeframes, consistently available before 12 PM, Monday - Friday.
- Maintain and manage equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability in photography and videography.
- Access to equipment capable of producing professional-quality images and video.
- Ability to work independently, while adhering to organizational guidelines.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- For high school students: Must have guardian permission.
