It’s easy to see the forest for the trees, but what about the Civil War-era cannons?
Load up for a morning of litter removal at Fort Foote Park on April 19 with the National Park Service! This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the remains of a historic location while helping protect it and its ecosystems from pollution.
Volunteers will meet at 8915 Fort Foote Rd, Fort Washington, MD 20744 at 9:30 AM, where NPS will provide all supplies and materials. Please dress for navigating rugged terrain and bring some water with you, as Spring will be in full swing.
Register for this event now, and we can’t wait to see you at the fort!
