Hanging out on the street and helping to set up activations, keep an eye on our supplies, and interact in a positive way with the community. This role also requires the willingness to make bubbles and play games.

Hayes Promenade envisions a permanently pedestrianized Hayes Street, where people of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy a safe, walkable street, to gather, play, shop, dance, and create and enjoy music and art.
Description
The 400 Block of Hayes street is closed on Fridays from 4-10pm and Saturdays from 10am-10pm. We are looking for volunteers to help generate grass-roots events, performances, games, and activations in this shared space.
