Role Summary:
As a Volunteer Resource Coordinator with CSN, you’ll play a vital role in supporting family caregivers by researching and identifying resources tailored to their specific needs.

60% of caregivers say it's difficult to access resources. Your work will empower caregivers with personalized information, tools, and connections that ease their caregiving journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research local and national resources based on the unique needs of caregivers in our program (e.g., companies to donate services, additional financial assistance, or localized faith-based programs).
  • Provide curated resource recommendations to the CSN team, ensuring caregivers receive relevant and timely support.
  • Collaborate with other volunteers to identify gaps and creative solutions for caregiver needs.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong research skills.
  • Passionate about supporting caregivers and making a positive impact.
  • Proactive and able to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a heart for service.

Time Commitment: Approximately 1 hour per week.

This is a volunteer position and a meaningful way to directly impact the lives of caregivers by equipping them with personalized, helpful resources.

Our Unique Approach to Caring for the Caregiver:

  1. Reduce Burnout: We partner locally to give caregivers occasional breaks from cooking, cleaning, and medical care.
  2. Find Christian Community: Caregivers join a loving community for prayer, friendship, and creative solutions.
  3. Navigate Beyond Caregiving: We offer ongoing prayer, resume support, and guidance for life after caregiving.
