Role Summary:
As a Volunteer Resource Coordinator with CSN, you’ll play a vital role in supporting family caregivers by researching and identifying resources tailored to their specific needs.
60% of caregivers say it's difficult to access resources. Your work will empower caregivers with personalized information, tools, and connections that ease their caregiving journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research local and national resources based on the unique needs of caregivers in our program (e.g., companies to donate services, additional financial assistance, or localized faith-based programs).
- Provide curated resource recommendations to the CSN team, ensuring caregivers receive relevant and timely support.
- Collaborate with other volunteers to identify gaps and creative solutions for caregiver needs.
Ideal Candidate:
- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong research skills.
- Passionate about supporting caregivers and making a positive impact.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a heart for service.
Time Commitment: Approximately 1 hour per week.
This is a volunteer position and a meaningful way to directly impact the lives of caregivers by equipping them with personalized, helpful resources.
