Role Summary:
As a Volunteer Prayer Partner with CSN, you will provide encouragement and prayer support to a family caregiver facing the challenges of caring for loved ones. Your role is to build a compassionate connection, offer regular prayer, and be a source of hope and strength through thoughtful, faith-centered communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commit to praying regularly for your assigned caregiver.
  • Dedicate approximately 1 hour per week to connecting with and praying for your caregiver.
  • Reach out through occasional messages, calls, or notes to offer encouragement and support.
  • Listen with empathy, offering spiritual encouragement in alignment with CSN’s mission.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect for each caregiver's personal journey.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Compassionate and empathetic, with strong listening skills.
  • Committed to prayer and spiritual support.
  • Reliable and able to maintain consistent, thoughtful communication.

Time Commitment: Approximately 1 hour per week.

This is a volunteer position and a meaningful way to uplift caregivers and be part of a supportive faith-based community.

Our Unique Approach to Caring for the Caregiver:

  1. Reduce Burnout: We partner locally to give caregivers occasional breaks from cooking, cleaning, and medical care.
  2. Find Christian Community: Caregivers join a loving community for prayer, friendship, and creative solutions.
  3. Navigate Beyond Caregiving: We offer ongoing prayer, resume support, and guidance for life after caregiving.
