The Best Buddies Friendship Walk is the leading event in the country supporting inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Join us at Polar Park for a morning of dancing, games, activities, and more! Have a chance to get down on the warning track at the Park, and walk alongside your community members!

We are looking for volunteers to help make this day the best walk yet! We have a variety of different volunteer opportunities, such as, running crafts or inflatable games, helping with registration, cheering, welcoming people, and more. We really appreciate the support and can't wait to have you all there!

Description

Funded in 1989, Best Buddies has spread across the country and impacted millions of people. We are the largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of people worldwide with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our programs empower people with IDD to form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure jobs, improve communication and advocacy skills, and live independently, while also offering support for their families.
