Make a difference in your community by volunteering to help keep our environment clean and green! Help us remove trash and litter from waterways that feed the Cabin Branch Stream and the Muddy Branch Creek in the Sterling Park area. Easy access to the cleaning area and shallow water makes this event appropriate for all ages.
Where: We’ll meet in the old Big Lots parking lot (300 Enterprise St) before dispersing into teams to clean up various streams in the area. Time: Sign In 8:30 am to 9:30 am. Everyone participating must Register and complete a waiver at https://signup.com/go/MzxqeuV
Note: Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Dress for Success - Wear long pants, long sleeves, and boots. Stay Hydrated - Bring a refillable water bottle. For further questions contact our stream captain at chair@sterlingfoundation.org

Description
The Sterling Foundation’s mission for over 35 years has been to strengthen the Sterling community through environmental, educational, cultural and recreational opportunities. Our dedicated focus has been to raise the funds that will keep the four mile stretch of Sterling Boulevard mowed, maintained and beautiful. In addition to the mowings, we host quarterly trash pick-ups along the boulevard, annual stream cleanups, seasonal tree pruning's, native flower plantings and regular garden maintenance. Every October, we sponsor SterlingFest, which brings everyone together, filling the streets of Sterling with people, music, booths, games, food and more. The proceeds help to fund our initiatives throughout the year as we continue our work for Sterling.
