ORGANIZATION: Safe Hands Rescue

  • 1 person is interested

Are you an experienced foster or can no longer foster but want to stay engaged? This is the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently looking for volunteers to contact new foster applicants to share information about our foster program and introduce them to all that is involved in fostering. This is a remote position that can be done during the day or evening. You will be scheduled on shifts throughout the week. Numbers of calls vary per week but tend to increase the week leading up to a transport, when we solicit more fosters.

About Safe Hands Rescue

Location:

3732 10th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55407, US

Mission Statement

To save and improve the lives of companion animals by engaging communities and connecting people, resources and knowledge.

Description

Safe Hands Rescue was founded in 2006 and has continued to grow and save more dogs and cats every year. We focus on saving animals from SE Kentucky, an impoverished area with great need. With underfunded shelters and lack of access to affordable spay and neuter programs. We partner with several shelters in the Chicago area and Twin Cities to save as many animals as possible. We often take animals that other groups pass up due to health issues. Our commitment is to help every adoptable animal in the shelter make it out alive.
