Teach Teens How to Navigate the System & Advocate for Themselves!
Passionate about social justice, law, or civic engagement? Teach teens how to advocate for themselves!
We need a virtual volunteer instructor to help high school students understand how systems work-from government to legal rights-and how to use that knowledge to their advantage. Curriculum is provided!
Course: How the System Works & How to Work the System
Dates: 5/8, 5/15
Time: 6pm-7:30pm 1.5 hours per session (2 weeks)
Virtual via Zoom
- Help youth break down complex systems and access opportunities
- Teach practical strategies to empower them in real-life situations
- Make a lasting impact in just 3 hours!
- Background in law, public policy, advocacy, or education
- Experience mentoring or working with youth
- Passionate about empowering the next generation with knowledge & confidence
- Community service hours
- Networking opportunities
- Letter of recommendation (upon request)
