ORGANIZATION: Safe Hands Rescue
Please visit the new page to apply.
Help us welcome transports of animals coming to Minnesota from Kentucky. Intake support roles range everything from calling fosters to pickup their foster animal and caring for the animals as they wait for vetting, to helping schlep/clean crates. This is a great way to support intakes and you get to see all the new dogs and cats coming to Safe Hands to start their new life!

Mission Statement
To save and improve the lives of companion animals by engaging communities and connecting people, resources and knowledge.
Description
Safe Hands Rescue was founded in 2006 and has continued to grow and save more dogs and cats every year. We focus on saving animals from SE Kentucky, an impoverished area with great need. With underfunded shelters and lack of access to affordable spay and neuter programs. We partner with several shelters in the Chicago area and Twin Cities to save as many animals as possible. We often take animals that other groups pass up due to health issues. Our commitment is to help every adoptable animal in the shelter make it out alive.
