About MORE: MORE is a non-profit that empowers new Americans through English classes and basic needs support. Our mission is to help immigrants reach their full potential and enjoy lives with greater stability. We are located in the North End of Saint Paul.

Opportunity: Are you looking for a meaningful way to spend your time and connect with your community? MORE is looking for friendly and dependable Student Orientation Volunteers!

As a Student Orientation Volunteer, you’ll:

Work One-on-One with our most beginning students

Build connections to help with student retention

Teach very basic computer skills to help students learn online

Volunteer in 3 week stints

We are looking for orientation teachers during the following times:

· Mondays-Thursdays, 9 am - 1 pm

Qualifications:

• A positive attitude and willingness to help others.
• Comfortable working in a busy environment and engaging with community members.
• Prior education experience is helpful but not necessary; training will be provided.
