About Games for Love
Games for Love is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to easing suffering, saving lives, and creating
sustainable futures for children. Through gaming, community engagement, and philanthropy, we bring joy and
critical resources to children in hospitals, foster care, and underserved communities worldwide.
Role Overview
The Community Manager Lead will serve as the main point of contact for the Games for Love community. This
role requires an inspirational leader who happily engages in community conversations, shares pertinent
updates, organizes events, and excels at creating a positive and welcoming environment. This role is remote.
Qualifications
 Experienced in leading and motivating teams
 Community management and event organization experience
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 Great interest in gaming and philanthropic causes
Key Responsibilities
 Own community messaging and inform the Games for Love community about current events while
ensuring alignment with brand values
 Train and lead a remote team of volunteers while encouraging a collaborative and mission-driven
culture
 Manage an active and connected community while increasing reach and visibility
 Organize events, engage in conversations, maintain awareness of community trends, and continually
drive communications to increase involvement
Desired Skills & Experience
 Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage remote teams
 Professional written and verbal communication skills
 Previous experience building and fostering online communities
 Experience volunteering with non-profit organizations is a plus
 Leadership experience is a plus

We are not looking at the symptoms of global problems to place a bandaid but at the root of the problems to solve them from the foundation. Our community creates a safe place of support, mentorship, and growth for all those involved.
