The Memory Ball is one of Baltimore's premier and most exciting events for the Alzheimer's Association. This event features several prominent members from Maryland who are know for their leadership and commitment fo the cuase. These Dancing Stars compete for the coveted Mirror Ball trophy by asking for "votes" (one vote= one dollar) in an effort to raise much-needed funds for the Alzheimer's Associaton. The Dancing Stars will perform a dance to dassle and delight more than 800 Guests in attendance and the couple that receives the moth "votes" will be awarded the Mirror Ball trophy.
As a volunteer you will be helping us on April 26th set up for the event during the day or you may be helping us throughout the evening make sure that the 800 guets in attendance have the best experience. If you do stay to support the event in the evening you will be in the room and have the opportunity to see the dancing stars perform and support the guests while they are donating to their favorite dancing star.

Description
The Alzheimer's Association offers a 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) to provide information and advice in more than 170 languages, over 60 support groups in Greater Maryland that provide a safe and confidential enviroment for conversation, support, guidance and resources, a variety of education programs for families, professionals and individuals facing dementia, safety services for people with Alzheimer's who wander, early stage engagement programs, care consulations and referrals for services to aid those living with Alzheimer's and their caregivers. The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voice for Alzheimer's disease advocary, fighting for critical research, prevention and care initiatives at the state and federal levels.
