Join Surfrider Foundation on April 19th at 9 AM for an engaging day of toes in the sand with family, friends and new acquaintances, raising awareness about litter and plastic pollution.
Connect with other passionate volunteers who share your commitment to keeping our beaches clean and beautiful. Together, we can make a difference--one beach at a time--and build a stronger, cleaner future for our oceans and communities.
Meet at the designated location, sign a waiver, pick up cleanup supplies, and head to the beach! Team up with fellow volunteers or go solo to comb the beach, collect trash, and make a positive impact on the environment. Let's protect our coastlines!

Beach Cleanup attendees, Beach Cleanup Leads, Water sample collectors, Education Leads, general members.
The Surfrider Foundation is a nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's oceans, waves and beaches, for all people, through Conservation, Activism, Research and Education (C.A.R.E.). Volunteers with the Santa Cruz Chapter can participate in beach cleanups, monitoring water quality with our Blue Ocean Task Force, and assisting with educational programming, outreach and event support! Join us to protect our beautiful Santa Cruz beaches.
