ORGANIZATION: BIRTHRIGHT OF ALBUQUERQUE INC

We anticipate that the numbers of pregnant women and new mothers who need help will only increase in the months and years ahead. While we receive generous donations of clothes and necessities, it is valuable to have the flexibility to purchase items that are in short supply at various times during the year. We would also like to expand our hours to serve greater numbers and offer a wider range of open times. While none of our staff have ever been paid for their time, it would be very helpful to hire a part-time operations manager to facilitate such an expansion. Periodic grants would help enable us to expand what we do and to hire an operations manager who could keep volunteer hours to a reasonable level and prevent anyone from getting burned out. It would be very helpful to have volunteers who are familiar with writing grant proposals and complying with the requirements of the funding organizations.
