At Second Justice, we believe lasting public safety requires systemic reform across education, healthcare, and the judiciary. Our work focuses on supporting those who have been wrongfully incarcerated or unduly criminalized, including individuals who maintain their innocence but do not meet the strict federal exoneration criteria. At Second Justice, we believe lasting public safety requires systemic reform across education, healthcare, and the judiciary. Our work focuses on supporting those who have been wrongfully incarcerated or unduly criminalized, including individuals who maintain their innocence but do not meet the strict federal exoneration criteria. Through a combination of legal advocacy and community support, we strive to: * Remedy wrongful convictions. * Collaborate with reentry organizations to support exonerees. * Partner with educational institutions to equip future legal professionals with the tools to drive systemic change.
