Potomac Watershed Cleanup at Piscataway Park

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Splish splash, let's go pick up some trash!

On April 5, spend the morning at Piscataway Park for the Alice Ferguson Foundation’s Potomac River Watershed Cleanup. At this annual event, not only will you prevent litter from contaminating a vital waterway, but you’ll also be able to visit the Foundation’s home base for some unique educational and behind-the-scenes opportunities!

Gather at the nearby Moyaone Community Pool at 8:30 AM to hitch a wagon ride to the worksite, where all supplies will be provided. Following the cleanup portion of the event, join the Foundation at their headquarters to learn more about the watershed and meet some animal friends!

Water you waiting for? Sign up today while there's still space! Please also register with the Foundation to secure your spot and receive further information.
