The mission of Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra (BCO) is to develop and sustain an orchestra of the highest artistic standards in Brooklyn; and to enrich and inspire through music, community engagement, and education. Founded in 2002, BCO is committed filling Brooklyn with music.

Description

The Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra (BCO) is a professional ensemble dedicated to preserving and expanding classical music through unique programming that serves the community. We create affordable and accessible classical music concerts to enrich Brooklyn’s cultural infrastructure and the joy of thousands each season. By providing high-quality, educational performances, we ensure that Brooklyn residents do not need to travel to Manhattan for exceptional classical music experiences. As Brooklyn’s only resident orchestra for 22 years, BCO plays a pivotal role in the community’s cultural life. BCO removes barriers and brings people together for the love of music.
