Join IT for Youth Ghana as a Volunteer Tech Instructor (Online or In-Person) to empower young females across Ghana and Africa with in-demand tech skills! We’re seeking passionate individuals to teach and mentor in programs like Data Analytics, Web Design, UI/UX, Database Management, Coding & Programming (Frontend & Backend), Graphic Design, Video Editing, and more. Our mission is to bridge the gender gap in technology by equipping women with the tools to thrive in the digital economy. As a volunteer, you’ll deliver online training sessions via platforms like Cisco, inspire students with real-world insights, and support their journey from learners to tech leaders. Current programs, like our Data Analytics cohort starting March 10, 2025, showcase our impact-help us scale this vision! Optional in-person sessions at our training center in Ghana, Accra, Kwabenya office ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/SRpwEbkokDaAKESo8 ) are available for local volunteers or foreigners who wish to travel for holidays and workaways. Location: Remote (Online) and in-person opportunities in Accra-Kwabenya, Ghana Responsibilities :
- Teach virtual classes (2-5 hours/week, flexible).
- Develop or adapt curriculum for beginner-to-intermediate learners.
- Mentor female students, fostering confidence and skills.
- Expertise in one or more listed tech areas (e.g., Data Analytics, Coding, UI/UX).
- Passion for education and gender equity.
- Comfortable with online tools (e.g., Cisco, Zoom); teaching experience a plus.
