Responsibilities:
Greet guests, verify pre-purchased tickets, and encourage donations.
Provide information about Art in Bloom and BMCA.
Assist with data collection and content creation.
Reports To: BMCA Program Coordinator, On-Site Staff
Time Commitment: Approx. 2.5 hours
Qualifications:
Friendly, enthusiastic, and comfortable speaking with guests.
Capable of verifying ticket validity.
Support: BMCA staff available for questions.
Dress Code: Smart casual attire; floral patterns encouraged.

Whether assisting floral designers, greeting guests, or helping behind the scenes, each volunteer contributes to the seamless execution of this celebration of art and nature. Mission Statement
The mission of the Black Mountain Center for the Arts is to bring arts to the people and people to the arts by providing a center for celebrating the arts and a forum for stimulating artistic endeavors. Our challenge is also to discover ways to honor our unique heritage while introducing community members to art forms that invite them to probe deeply into the values of dignity, respect, and the joy the arts bring to their lives and to the life of the Swannanoa Valley.
Description
As a multi-purpose arts facility serving a wide cross-section of the community, the goals and objectives of the BMCA are driven primarily by the programming offered both inside and outside the building. Through a comprehensive calendar of yearly programs, the BMCA will create a positive economic impact and raise the local quality of living, as it becomes a focal point of community arts activities.
