Join us at Keep Indianapolis Beautiful to help protect and preserve an important natural resource of Central Indiana--Little Eagle Creek! We will be removing litter along the banks of the creek, where it often collects within vegetation, and from within the creek using waders. By picking up litter we will beautify our city while protecting our local ecosystems, including our soil, waterways, plants, and wildlife, from pollution. Litter prevention is one of the easiest things we can do to keep our city clean, but it takes all of us doing our part!

Safety: We highly recommend wearing weather-appropriate clothing, long sleeves and pants, and sturdy boots, as we will be working on a steep slope with dense vegetation. We always recommend bringing a reusable bottle for water but we will have disposable cups available if needed. KIB will provide all supplies, such as litter grabbers, gloves, and trash bags. Waders will be available for those who want to get in the water to help pick up litter.

Parking and Facilities: Parking is available at the International District Community Center Parking Lot (3540 Commercial Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46222). Bathrooms will be available inside the community center.
