About Us:

Our mission is to offer training and structured work opportunities to young adults with special needs in their area of interest. Our goal is to attract and maintain a strong customer base by offering an upscale, boutique-style experience, at thrift store prices. Most importantly, we strive to exceed expectations through personalized service and attention to detail.

About the Role:

We are looking for detail-oriented and hands-on volunteers to serve as Donation Processors. After donations have been sorted, you will further inspect, test, and prepare them for resale-helping maximize their value and impact. Your work directly supports our mission by funding and supporting programs that empower young adults with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test electronics and small appliances to ensure they are functional.
  • Verify board games, puzzles, and toys have all necessary pieces.
  • Wash, steam, or iron clothing to ensure it is presentable for resale.
  • Further categorize donations based on quality, brand, and condition.
  • Maintain a clean and organized processing area.
  • Follow donation processing guidelines to ensure efficiency and quality.
