Love mid-century and modern design? Join us as a day-of-event volunteer for the 4th Retro Modern Home Tour on Saturday, April 19, 2025! We're looking for friendly folks to help with ticket holder check-in-and as a thank you, you'll get a FREE pass to explore all the stunning homes on the tour.

It's a fun way to be part of this beloved community event while getting a behind-the-scenes look at some of the Audubon Park Garden District’s most stylish homes.

    The Home Tour check in will take place at the Audubon Park K-8 School lot at 1500 Falcon Dr. Volunteers will check in ticket holders & give out maps.
  • Sat Apr 19, 2025 - 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM EST - Spots available: 4
    Meet at Audubon Park K-8 School at 1500 Falcon Drive to check in ticket holders and give out maps.
  • Sat Apr 19, 2025 - 03:30 PM to 07:30 PM EST - Spots available: 6
    Volunteers needed for our after party. Help set up, serve food, listen to music, help close up. Black attire requested.

We promote our community, its culture, and businesses through local events, cultural celebrations, and evolving neighborhood improvement projects, with a special focus on sustainability and the arts.

Description

The Audubon Park Garden District is the organization that brings you public art, community events, Orlando’s first eco-district, a community newsletter, small business support, and so much more.

We water plants, pick up litter, and work with all sorts of community members - from small businesses to area nonprofits, residents to property owners, the City of Orlando, and many more - all to keep up that support and enhance the specialness, which is the APGD.

Established in 2008, the Audubon Park Garden District is an accredited Orlando Main Street program and a subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. One of eleven Orlando Main Street programs, the APGD works to enhance the neighborhood and support the indie spirit of the community.

Created by the National Trust for Historic Preservation over thirty years ago, Main Street America is a national movement to help cities, towns, and villages revitalize their neighborhood business districts.

  • This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.
  • Must be at least 21
  • Ranges from 2 hours to 4 hours, depending on the shift.
  • Check in volunteers - please wear comfortable clothes and bring a hat if you like. This will be outside. After party volunteers - please wear all black. Upon arrival, check in with Tiara at 1500 Falcon Drive, Orlando 32803
