Do you want to work more closely with those in need in your own community? Our state of the art facility in downtown Santa Rosa, Caritas Center, is in need of an occassional backup person to help our regular staff members at the front desk. This mostly entails greeting and directing unhoused folks to appropriate areas of the building and answering calls and emails. The ideal volunteer will have an unflappable exterior, be customer service oriented, and have a hardy sense of humor with a heart for the unhoused in our community.

For those who are aging whether they are struggling with memory care challenges, isolation, or disease, we offer community, medical assistance, and a safe place to continue to learn and grow. For those struggling with poverty, any and all who are suffering from hunger, lack of healthcare, for those who are falling through the cracks, we're an open door, a friendly ear, and a helping partner in getting back to standing tall. We provide over 20 programs of service to nearly 80,000 people each year. We welcome people of all faiths, races, gender, and sexual orientation--and we serve the entire region the Diocese of Santa Rosa touches--Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Lake , Humboldt, and Del Norte counties. Catholic Charities is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
