Mission Statement

To promote Irish and Celtic culture throughout the City of Raleigh and the entire Triangle area through the Raleigh St. Patrick's Day Parade, a family friendly fun event.

Description

The Raleigh St. Patrick's Day Parade is presented by the Raleigh St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee. The Committee is made up of just a few volunteers who work hard all year to make the parade and festival happen. The 2024 Parade will be the 40th! Every Year, the Raleigh Saint Patrick's Day Parade Committee works hard to raise funds to cover the costs of the parade (it is not financially supported by the City of Raleigh).

REQUIREMENTS

  • This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.
  • Must be at least 16
  • Less than 2 hours
  • You may need to lift weighted "feet" for the road barricades to get them in place, but in most cases they can slide into place. Be able to walk at least 2 miles (down the parade route and back, a little less than 2)
