Fundraising Event Volunteer Opportunity: Ordinary Magic on May 1

Wilder is seeking volunteers for our biggest fundraising event of the year, Ordinary Magic, on May 1 at Wilder Center! Ordinary Magic is a fun and inspiring evening to raise support for the children, families, and older adults Wilder serves. We look forward to our annual celebration in support of Wilder’s mission and hope you can join us to celebrate and build community with Wilder!

Volunteer openings:

  • Silent Auction Volunteers (2:30-7:15pm) - highest need
  • Mystery Bag Activity Volunteers (4:00-7:30pm) - highest need
  • Coat Check Volunteers/Floaters (4:45-6:45pm and/or 6:45-9:15pm)
  • Live Auction Bid Spotters (7:00-9:00pm) - highest need
  • Checkout Volunteers (7:00-9:30pm)
  • Farewell Greeters (7:30-9:45pm)
  • Clean Up Crew (8:15-9:45pm) - must pair with another shift

  • Note: Volunteers must pre-register at the sign-up link prior to the event.

BENEFITS:

  • Have a direct impact on local community members by helping Wilder execute a successful fundraising event.
  • Event volunteers also have the opportunity to meet others in the community, all while supporting Wilder’s mission.
  • Volunteers will be provided a light family-style meal during the course of the event.
  • Volunteers may have the opportunity to view the event program, but that is not guaranteed.
  • Volunteers are invited to an optional appreciation and training lunch prior to the event on April 23 from 12-1:30pm.
