Join California Volunteers in honor of Earth Day for the Community Climate Action Day - Los Angeles at Augustus F. Hawkins Nature Park!
This year, in partnership with California Volunteers, Office of the Governor, we are bringing communities together to take meaningful climate action. Join us at Augustus F. Hawkins Nature Park for a hands-on volunteer day focused on sustainability and urban greening.
This opportunity is hosted in collaboration with LA Compost, LA Rec and Parks, City Plants, Northeast Trees, and Councilmember Curren D. Price’s Office and will focus on community tree care and composting. Volunteers will take part in mulching, tree maintenance, and composting activities to help improve soil health, support the park’s green spaces, and promote sustainable waste practices.
