At Compassion Within Hospice, our volunteers are an essential part of the CARE Team who provide companionship, offer support, and participate in community outreach and activities!
Volunteer Opportunities Include:
- Crafts and Activities--Playing games, BINGO, reading, etc.
- Personally Support--Companionship and/or letter writing.
- Speicalized Support--Playing/listening to music, hair care, painting nails.
- Office Support--Delivering supplies, decorating/organizing the office.
- And so much more!

Description
Compassion Within Hospice is a locally owned business that provides quality hospice care to patients and families. Hospice care is for people nearing the end of life. Our team of healthcare professionals maximizes comfort, reduces pain, and addresses physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs.
Hospice care also provides counseling, respite care, and practical support to help families. The goal is to support the highest quality of life possible for whatever time remains. Hospice patients can receive skilled nursing, home health aid, spiritual support, dietary counseling, social services, medication management, wound care, PT, OT, speech therapy, and medical supplies.
