Are you passionate about making a difference in your community?
Brilliant Cities is a neighborhood-powered model ensuring children 0-8 are school-ready, healthy, and supported. We do this by transforming houses into community hubs where children and families have what they need to thrive. We currently operate 16 hubs across 24 neighborhoods in Detroit and 1 in Pontiac, where families with young children come for programs in education, health, and family support, and to build community with one another. to receive love, safety, growth, and fellowship.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our efforts in creating kid success cities for all, and fostering the love of literacy and community engagement.
What You'll Do
Engage with community residents to share important resources and information accessible/walkable in their neighborhoods
Build stronger connections with your community
Gain valuable experience in community outreach and public service all while learning more about Brilliant
Become a Brilliant Ambassador
Requirements
Complete a standard background check and volunteer handbook
A positive outlook on Brilliant and willingness to learn more about our work
Passion for helping others and improving neighborhoods

Outreach for Brilliant Central's Summer Camp Programming: Monday, March 24; 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.- Help spread the word about Brilliant Central, a vital community resource hub offering essential services and educational programs aimed at boosting literacy rates throughout Detroit!
- Spread the word as Brilliant Fitzgerald gears up to host a fun and educational Juneteenth celebration!
