A community gathering that will instill a sense of wonder and curiosity for the entire family. The idea of adventure, exploration, and observing animals in their natural habitat comes to life through fun-filled safari-themed educational learning activities. We aim to ignite the desire to know more about wildlife, culture, and the wonders of the natural world through interactive activities like animal scavenger hunts, animal yoga, and captivating stories about the animals of Africa's plains for the whole family to enjoy. Volunteers are needed for event materials set-up and restore, participant check-in/registration, managing themed activities, and food set-up/distribution.
Volunteer Expectations
- Expect to help create an immersive learning environment and two-way dialogue with participants.
- Participate in strengthening connected bonds between Brilliant and attending guests.
- Create lasting memories in a unique and enjoyable setting that families will remember fondly.

Brilliant Detroit is dedicated to building kid success families and neighborhoods where families with children 0-8 have what they need to be school ready, healthy and stable. We do this by providing proven programming and support year-round out of Brilliant Detroit homes in high-need neighborhoods.
