The Icla da Silva Foundation is seeking passionate individuals to join us as fundraising champions! Your efforts will directly support patients with blood cancers and sickle cell disease, helping remove financial barriers to receiving a life-saving bone marrow transplant.
By fundraising, sharing inspiring survivor stories, and raising awareness within your network, you will make a life-changing difference in the lives of patients in need.
It's easy to get started: tell your friends and family why this cause matters to you, and encourage them to join you in giving hope to patients who need it most.
As a thank-you, anyone who raises at least $1,200 by September 1 will receive two complimentary tickets to our annual Hope Gala at the University Club of New York on October 14, 2025 >>> a night of celebration and inspiration. (Please note: travel and lodging are not included.)
Ready to make an impact? Join us today as a fundraising champion!

Mission Statement
Removing Barriers to Treatment - The mission of the Icla da Silva Foundation is to save the lives of patients whose only cure is a bone marrow transplant by providing financial, emotional, and logistical support to remove barriers to treatment. Our Vision is that every every patient suffering a life-threatening disease like blood cancer or sickle cell will be able to receive a bone marrow transplant without financial insecurity.
Description
A Critical Goal
Our goal is to provide financial, emotional, and logistical support to more patients in need. Our IclaCares program awards financial grants specific to bone marrow transplant patients. We help fund expenses that are not covered by insurance, including transportation, meals, and lodging during treatment.
We need your help. As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of our donors and fundraisers. Program continuation is dependent on the availability of funds and the program could be discontinued at any time if funding is limited or no longer available.
Please consider joining our team of volunteers to help grow our program and raise funds so that we can ensure more patients receive their life-saving treatment.
*The Icla da Silva Foundation was established in June of 1992, as a nonprofit organization under section 501(c) 3 of the IRS Code.
