About Audemy:
Audemy is an AI-powered audio gaming platform designed to provide immersive, interactive learning experiences, particularly for blind and visually impaired students. Using spatial audio, AI-driven interactions, and adaptive learning mechanics, we create engaging educational games that make learning more accessible.
We’re seeking a Front-End Developer with expertise in Vue.js, JavaScript, and HTML to enhance our platform’s user experience, ensuring smooth, intuitive, and accessible interactions.
Responsibilities:- Develop and refine user-facing components using Vue.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Design and implement responsive, accessible UI/UX for visually impaired learners.
- Collaborate with designers and AI engineers to integrate game mechanics and interactive features.
- Optimize front-end performance for smooth real-time interactions.
- Ensure compliance with ARIA, WCAG, and other accessibility standards.
- Iterate quickly based on user feedback and testing.
- Strong experience with Vue.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of state management (Vuex, Pinia) and front-end architecture.
- Experience building accessible web applications.
- Familiarity with game UI/UX design or interactive media is a plus.
- Passion for AI-driven experiences, accessibility, and educational technology.

Over 70% of blind students are at least a grade level behind in school.
Audemy aims to increase accessibility for educational resources to blind and visually impaired learners.
Audemy is a collection of educational games aimed for Kindergarten to 5th grade students based on international learning curriculums. Audemy's games are purely audio-based, and require minimal tactile interaction. Furthermore, the games are compatible with assistive technologies such as screen readers.
We currently work with over 1,000+ blind and visually impaired students, and have been used in schools for the blind in 7 states.
