About Audemy:Audemy is an AI-powered audio gaming platform designed to provide immersive, interactive learning experiences, particularly for blind and visually impaired students. By combining adaptive AI, spatial audio, and interactive storytelling, Audemy makes education more engaging and accessible.
We are looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer with expertise in Vue.js, JavaScript, and HTML to help us scale our platform, refine gameplay mechanics, and enhance AI-driven interactions.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a responsive web-based platform for AI-powered audio games.
- Implement interactive UIs using Vue.js to enhance accessibility and user experience.
- Optimize real-time interactions between AI-driven game elements and player inputs.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate NLP and adaptive learning mechanics into the gaming experience.
- Ensure accessibility compliance (ARIA, WCAG) for visually impaired users.
- Improve performance and scalability of the platform for thousands of active learners.
- Strong experience with Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Proficiency in backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, or real-time data processing.
- Experience with game development concepts (audio-based interactions, state management, or AI-driven mechanics is a plus).
- Passion for accessibility, AI, and innovative learning experiences.
- Knowledge of audio processing or spatial audio technologies is a bonus.

Description
Over 70% of blind students are at least a grade level behind in school.
Audemy aims to increase accessibility for educational resources to blind and visually impaired learners.
Audemy is a collection of educational games aimed for Kindergarten to 5th grade students based on international learning curriculums. Audemy's games are purely audio-based, and require minimal tactile interaction. Furthermore, the games are compatible with assistive technologies such as screen readers.
We currently work with over 1,000+ blind and visually impaired students, and have been used in schools for the blind in 7 states.
