ORGANIZATION: CHERRY CREEK STORYTELLERS

Image_202503081320

Impact lives and have fun as a volunteer storyteller. Storytellers visit classrooms in the Cherry Creek School District to do traditional oral storytelling with students.

Our stories ignite the imagination of children in a way more dramatically than just reading a book. Tellers pass along character, build community, advance literacy and enrich the lives of the listeners and the storytellers alike.

The children are captivated by the stories we tell. They smile. They laugh. They are eager to have us return each month for another new story. We often hear their excited voices whispering in their classrooms, "The storytellers are here!"

We provide training and support to become a storyteller.
