We are looking for groups and/or individuals to help with a mattress/box spring/frame project on March 17 and 18 at the Booth Manor apartments located next to our Eagle Creek Corps (4400 N. High School Rd.). We have been generously donated gently used bed items from a hotel which will be a blessing for several of the apartment residents to receive these items. We have volunteer positions for those able to lift weight as well as those who prefer non weight assignments: help assemble full and queen size bed frames, remove various size mattresses and box springs from individual apartments, help with light cleaning in some apartments, move queen size mattresses and box springs into individual apartments, etc.

***March 17 - volunteer shifts from 11am-2pm, 2-5pm, and 4-7pm
***March 18 - volunteer shifts from 9am-12pm, 12-3pm, and 3-6pm
We are flexible with schedules so if you are unable to stay for the entire shift time just let us know your availability, we welcome volunteers under 18 years of age who have a parent/guardian with them (or if coming with a group have an adult chaperone), and please call/email/text me if you have questions related to this upcoming volunteer opportunity.

Description
Using both paid staff and volunteers, we repond to disasters locally, nationally and internationally. Moreover, we repond to individual plights within Indiana whether the circumstances involve domestic violence, substance abuse, at risk children, homelessness, joblessness and other situations where people need help and training. We have multiple programs and service-specific centers in and around Indiana. We have special events as fundraisers, donation collections and to increase awareness. "Need knows no season" so we are in constant pursuit of finding ways to make a difference and offer the gift of God's love.
