**Position Overview:**
The **Mentor & Strategic Advisor** role is a unique volunteer position within KUTE Organization, designed for experienced professionals with a background in business, nonprofit leadership, or a related field. Unlike other positions at KUTE, this role is not limited to youth but is instead intended for industry veterans who can provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and consulting support to help the organization grow and maximize its impact.

**Responsibilities:**
- Act as a consultant and mentor to KUTE’s leadership team, offering strategic advice on organizational development, fundraising, partnerships, and program expansion.
- Provide insights based on industry experience to refine KUTE’s initiatives and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in networking and connecting KUTE with potential partners, donors, and stakeholders to enhance its reach and effectiveness.
- Help develop sustainable revenue models and explore e-commerce or other funding strategies to support KUTE’s mission.
- Offer feedback on key decisions and help troubleshoot challenges faced by the organization.
- Participate in occasional meetings, workshops, or brainstorming sessions to guide organizational growth.

**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in business, nonprofit leadership, philanthropy, or a related field.
- Well-established reputation in their industry with a strong professional network.
- Passion for education, youth empowerment, and social impact.
- Strong mentorship and communication skills.
- Ability to commit time periodically for advisory meetings and organizational support.

**Time Commitment:**
This is a flexible, volunteer-based position with no fixed time requirements. Mentors will contribute on an as-needed basis, depending on organizational needs and their availability.

Our mission is to bridge the gap In resources between students in our local, national, and international communities, and we are committed to promoting educational equity for all. In order to work towards this objective, we donate books and school supplies to schools that need them.

Description

The KUTE organization primarily focuses on book drives, in order to donate storybooks, novels, and textbooks to young readers. We started with a drive in partnership with Urban Promise to donate books to our local community in Camden, but we have expanded into New York, California, and are planning on holding a drive for a school in India.
Potential volunteers can expect a variety of tasks from researching potential partners for drives, decorating bins and posters for said drives, and helping organize and run community book fairs.
