We are seeking a talented and passionate keyboard player to join our team. They play an important role in leading the congregation in musical worship to the Lord, and their focus is on glorifying God and reaching others with the gospel using their talents. They will be working directly with the Minister of Music and Pastor.

We are a small but growing church who loves the Lord and people. Whether you would be just starting out playing the keys or organ in a church setting, have years of experience, or are somewhere in between, this position may be for you!

Responsibilities

• Accompanying congregational hymns during the Friday night worship service
• Performing other selections throughout the service (i.e., prelude, offertory, postlude)
• Playing the accompaniment of musical anthems for special services (Christmas, Easter, etc.)

Qualifications

• Must be a born-again believer and have an active walk with the Lord
• Proficiency playing piano and/or organ
• Excellent organizational skills
• Clear and direct communication
• Punctuality and reliability
• Proficient sight-reading skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to musically improvise under pressure and follow musical conducting
• Accompanying experience is preferred, but not required - accompanying is a necessary part of this position, so willingness to learn is essential
