Knit / crochet baby booties

ORGANIZATION: BIRTHRIGHT OF ALBUQUERQUE INC

Commercially manufactured baby clothes are very useful for mothers of new babies, however, hand-knitted or crocheted baby booties (and hats) have a special emotional impact on mothers. When a client gets a positive pregnancy test, we offer her the opportunity to pick out a pair of booties and a hat for her baby. If the booties or hat are hand-crafted, by a person, there is an added dimension of friendship in these gifts.
