Are you passionate about youth advocacy, mental wellness, and project management? YouthVoice Wellness Connect Podcast is looking for a dedicated Volunteer Project Manager to help us organize and execute our mission-driven podcast!

About the Podcast:
YouthVoice Wellness Connect is a platform where high school students share their experiences, concerns, and thoughts on youth-related topics. Hosted by three dynamic individuals, the podcast features a new guest every live show and is recorded on every first and last Wednesday from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM in a hybrid format.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee podcast planning and execution

  • Coordinate with hosts, guests, and volunteers

  • Manage scheduling and ensure smooth recordings

  • Assist with content organization and marketing efforts

  • Help keep the project on track with timelines and deliverables

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills

  • Experience in project management, media, or event coordination (preferred but not required)

  • Passion for youth advocacy and mental wellness

  • Ability to commit from April to December 2025

Counselors in the Community Alliance- CITCA serves disadvantaged individuals throughout the United States from urban & rural communities with mental and behavioral health resources by increasing access to services, resources and support for children, adults and families impacted by poverty and poverty-related issues and bridge the gaps to strengthen community resilience through stewardship, economic opportunities, health and education equity.

Description

CITCA is a national 501c3 on a powerful mission to increase strengthen mental health awareness and community resilience. Our association includes a collaborative alliance among counselors, mental health professionals, and community members nationwide engaging in civic community activities that promote mental health awareness and resiliency. Through such allyship the organization strengthens anti-poverty initiatives that bridge the gaps on access to care and socioeconomic resources including programs, education and employment resources.

Since incorporating the nonprofit has been driving impact in social emotional learning, SEL and increasing access to counseling services for low income families. The organization also offer programs for youth leadership development, advocacy, community resources and programs that contribute to prosocial development and other services to close equity gaps

We are seeking volunteers to serve with us who share similar passions to increase mental health awareness and strengthen communities. Volunteers are the driving force our mission would be incomplete without and we welcome all with a passion too serve.
