Calling all amateur detectives! We are seeking volunteers to locate, photograph, document, and stock select Little Free Library book-sharing boxes in the greater Niagara area.
Purpose: Confirming the locations and conditions of these Read in Color libraries will enable the Little Free Library organization to better support their stewards and the communities they serve.

Responsibilities:
- Visit Read in Color Little Free Library locations according to the route you have chosen
- Take a photo of the library (or the location where the library should be located)
- Note the condition of the library
- Note the library charter number
- Optional: add books to the library and check in to the library in the mobile app when possible
- Communicate with Little Free Library staff about the process, challenges, and questions.
- Complete the library locator spreadsheet with details from the libraries you visited by June 30.
- Submit an Impact form in our Team LFL volunteer hub when you’re done with the project.
Training & Resources Available: Registered volunteers will receive an email with instructions for completing this project.

Supervision & Support: Lexie Neeley, Little Free Library Program Manager, will be available to answer any questions you have as you volunteer.

There are 60+ Little Free Libraries in Santa Cruz. Volunteers can support our mission by distributing books to Little Free Libraries, coordinating a book drive to benefit Little Free Libraries, or assisting with the periodic updating of our map of Little Free Library locations.
