The Izaak Walton League are a non-profit conservation group that is seeking assistance with invasive honeysuckle removal. This allows our native plants and animals to flourish.

No experience is necessary. We will cut honeysuckle with loppers and saws. Then, the stumps will be treated with herbicide to stop regrowth.

It will be muddy. If the Izaak Walton thinks it is too wet and vehicles may get stuck, we will send an email out on Friday, March 21 to notify everyone and we will go out the following Saturday.

What to bring: Clothes and shoes that can get muddy. Work gloves if you have them. Loppers if you have them. A water bottle.

We will bring: Extra gloves and loppers if you need to borrow. A water jug for refills. granola bars to share.

Release Form: The can be found at https://www.butlerswcd.org/volunteer, we will also have physical copies available on site.

Questions: Please reach out with any questions.
